Position Overview:
Flow is seeking a meticulous, highly skilled, and highly motivated Senior QA Engineer Intern to join our engineering organization. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in QA, particularly in testing complex systems involving React and Django, CICD pipelines, and various testing methodologies.This position is ideal for candidates pursuing or have obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with a passion for QA. The internship is remote-only and requires a commitment of at least 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing & Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, API testing, and database testing to ensure the functionality and performance of the application.Utilize automated testing tools, particularly Rest Assured, to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
CICD Pipeline Management: Implement and manage CICD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and integration processes.
Use GitHub Actions to integrate automated testing into the development workflow.Continuously improve the CICD pipeline to ensure faster and more reliable delivery of software updates.
Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to identify, document, and resolve bugs and issues.
Provide detailed reports on test outcomes and collaborate on solutions for any identified issues.Participate in code reviews and ensure that best practices in QA are upheld across the team.
Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various testing stages, including UI, API, and performance testing.
Optimize existing test automation processes to increase coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
Provide regular updates on the status of testing activities and deliver clear and actionable insights to the team.
Requirements:
Experience: 2-3+ years of professional experience in quality assurance with a focus on automated testing and CICD pipeline management.Technical Skills: Expert in setting up and managing CICD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
Strong experience with testing frameworks and tools for React and Django applications.Expertise in various testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, API testing, and database testing.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, particularly Rest Assured.
Expert knowledge of Git and version control practices.
Remote Work: Must be able to work remotely and dedicate a minimum of 30 hours per week.Education: Masters degree in Computer Science
