Job Type: Part-time onsite (2 times a week)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions with the use of SQL, Excel, and PowerBI.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
2. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
3. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
4. Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
5. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
6. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
7. Develop rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.
8. Design, build and deploy BI solutions using PowerBI.

Qualifications:

1. Proven working experience as a Data Analyst.
2. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
3. Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
4. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
5. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.).
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Experience with PowerBI and data visualization.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to a broad range of audiences.
