Is accountable for and holds vendor accountable for SOW and deliverables. Manages project scope in alignment with the SOW and reviews/manages change orders for adjustments to scope.
builds and maintains project plans following the Accenture and Workday Methodology. The PM is ultimately accountable for project quality. Works with vendor project management tools to update project plans, work breakdown structures, forecasting tools, risk plans, decision logs, etc.
Manages BCIT project record in Service Now. Submits project phase gate approvals and project change requests to the BCIT Project Review Board. Educates and holds the project team accountable for expectations associated with the Workday methodology.
Oversees daily management of project activities and resources. Provides mentoring, guidance, and oversight to the team (from the SA through the PC Provides team performance feedback to the Head of PMO. Identifies project risks and provides contingency plans to manage/mitigate project risk.
Escalates high-risk areas to the steering committee and/or the Executive Sponsor leadership team. Responsible for monitoring and managing the Project Budget. Is accountable for project resource utilization and escalates resource constraints to PMO and Executive Steering Committee.
Serves as a role model by adhering to the highest level of integrity in project management. Engages with Workday Delivery Assurance Manager and ensures all Delivery Assurance checkpoints are completed. Actively helps to guide and resolve product issues in conjunction with Workday Delivery Assurance when necessary.
Actively facilitates new business process development, limiting customizations in the new system. Prepares and presents a monthly PowerPoint status deck to County leadership/Executive Steering Committee. Delivers ad hoc presentations as needed. Works with vendor and BCIT Organizational Change Management leads to facilitate change management activities (assessments, metrics, support plans, communications, training, etc.
Must have experience implementing Workday with a structured change management approach. Prepares meeting agendas and documents meeting minutes. All meeting minutes must be distributed within 24 hours of a meeting. Must Have: Demonstrated expertise in project management fundamentals supported by work experience managing ERP or SaaS implementations.
Strong communication skills, demonstrating professional poise to interact with Client leadership. Demonstrated ability to hold the team accountable to scope, budget, timeline, and other project responsibilities. Proven success leading and supporting remote work teams.
Demonstrated knowledge of change management /business readiness PMP or other relevant PM certification required. Required to be on call 24 hours. May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek. May be required to work weekends. Participation in 1 or more successful Workday implementations.
