As a full-time Product Inventory Associate / Merchandising Associate at Room & Board's Outlet, you will be part of a 6-person team. Together, you'll handle weekly semi-trailer loads of American-made furniture and home furnishings, transforming our 25,000 sq.ft. Outlet into a highly admired shopping destination for our loyal brand enthusiasts every weekend.
Location: 4600 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley.
Schedule:
Work Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays & SundaysDays Off: Thursdays & Fridays, with one weekend off per month
Note: During the weeks surrounding your weekend off, you will be scheduled for two Thursday shifts.
You’ll be responsible for: Product Inventory Associate / Merchandising Associate
- Receiving Product: Safely offload 3 to 4 semi-trailer loads (weekly) using proper equipment to minimize damage and injuries. Obtain forklift certification (provided by us) and ensure safe equipment usage in the warehouse.
- Staging Product: Safely relocate and stage products in the Outlet showroom. Finalize merchandising and prepare the showroom for Saturday's opening, including product details, tagging, cleaning, and organization. Support various Outlet operations projects.
- Supporting Smooth Operations of the Outlet on Saturdays & Sundays: During your weekend shifts, you'll immerse yourself in the retail environment of assisting customers and providing support to the Outlet team, including training and development.

- You're skilled in technology. You are computer savvy, in addition to being a curious, engaged learner.
- 3+ years experience in roles involving related skills and responsibilities
- An understanding of the importance of safe working habits as you ensure the safe, accurate and efficient handling of our furniture.
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds independently throughout the day.
- Ability to pass a physical abilities test related to the role.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 / yr.
