Sr. Accountant

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant role in the tech industry, located in American Canyon, California, 94503, United States. As a Sr. Accountant, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities tied to the financial reporting and reconciliation of our business units and a new operating company in NetSuite.

• Collaborate on the revamp of financial reporting, including the division of business units for reporting purposes.
• Offer support in setting up a new operating company in the NetSuite system.
• Ensure the seamless transition of data during the system implementation and maintenance.
• Participate in the reconciliation of financial statements to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize skills such as Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger maintenance, and Journal Entries.
• Employ Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet management and data analysis.
• Play a crucial role in month-end close processes. • Ability to perform account reconciliation with high precision
• Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Extensive knowledge and experience with general ledger operations
• Capability to prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close processes and procedures
• Proficiency in using NetSuite financial software for accounting tasks
