ServiceNow QA Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ServiceNow QA Analyst to join our healthcare organization's IT team. The ServiceNow QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions deployed within our healthcare environment.

This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare IT processes, coupled with expertise in software quality assurance and testing methodologies. The ServiceNow QA Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop test plans, execute test cases, and identify and report defects to ensure the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions that meet organizational requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for ServiceNow solutions.
Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests on ServiceNow applications and modules to ensure their accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks compatible with the ServiceNow platform.
Conduct compatibility testing to ensure ServiceNow solutions work effectively across different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and dependencies and ensure test coverage for all aspects of ServiceNow implementations.
Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on testability and ensure alignment with quality assurance objectives.
Perform data validation and verification to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data processed through ServiceNow applications.
Document test results, metrics, and recommendations for improvements, and communicate findings to project stakeholders and management.

Stay current with ServiceNow releases, updates, and best practices related to testing and quality assurance methodologies.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a focus on IT projects and healthcare IT systems.
Experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and other ServiceNow modules preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare IT processes, regulations, and industry best practices, including HIPAA compliance requirements.
Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks such as Selenium, HP Quality Center, JIRA, or similar.
Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts for ServiceNow applications using testing tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and isolate defects in complex IT systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Experience with performance testing tools and techniques for ServiceNow applications.
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
Experience with security testing methodologies and tools for healthcare IT systems.

Active participation in professional organizations or forums related to software quality assurance or healthcare IT.
