Accounts Receivable Clerk - Robert Half

This position is primarily office-based and offers an exciting opportunity for those with a background in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer invoices and handle billing disputes
• Reconcile accounts and ensure correct record keeping
• Manage customer credit applications and maintain up-to-date records
• Conduct light collections calls as needed to ensure timely payments
• Generate aging reports and perform specialty reporting tasks
• Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for Contractors to manage accounts and transactions
• Collaborate with the team to improve and update the Accounts Receivable system
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
• Handle payment processing to ensure smooth financial operations
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role within the Construction or Contractor industry
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections
• Knowledge of Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting
• Experience with QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in handling accounts and financial data.
