Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual and CNC lathes to machine, repair, and fabricate industrial rollers and components. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to read blueprints and work with precision measuring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual and CNC lathes to machine metal, rubber-coated, and composite rollers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
- Set up and adjust lathe machines, tooling, and workpieces to achieve precise tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on lathe equipment.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Ensure all machining processes meet quality control standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and resolve machining challenges.
