Warehouse Worker

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Use radio frequently or picking, receiving, and storing function, as required.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Operate product handling equipment safely and efficiently while loading and unloading freight.
• Perform labeling, sorting, and re-packing as needed.
• Perform inventory procedures accurately and with the utmost integrity.
• General business support function as assigned.
• Ships and receives cargo according to the applicable regulatory and or voluntary association’s requirements.
• Performs product selection and package preparation for shipment.
• Assists with pallet and cargo preparation.
• Cleans facility and/or trash compactor

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of routine clerical methods and office practices and procedures as they related to the clerical processing and recording of transactions and accounting information.
• Relative computer knowledge and skills.

• This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.

• This position requires physical demands to include, but not limited to standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying heavy objects repeatedly.
• Warehouse environment may be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.
• Will work alongside drivers who are moving pallets on different types of forklifts.
