We are seeking a focused and meticulous Human Resources Administrator to join our team located in Pennsylvania, United States. As a Human Resources Administrator, your role will involve managing front-line HR activities, handling employee inquiries, and maintaining thorough paper-based records.

This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to a variety of employee inquiries, including questions about benefits, timecards, and time off.
  • Oversee HR functions such as orientation and onboarding support to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Manage paper files meticulously, demonstrating a comfort and proficiency with paper-based record keeping.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and provide clarifications to employees as needed.
  • Support the maintenance of a positive employee relations environment, acting as a point of contact for related issues.
  • Engage in compliance activities, ensuring all HR practices align with relevant OSHA, Workers Comp, FMLA, and Strategic HR guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in the administration of human resources activities, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of HR administration practices.
  • Proven experience providing administrative support to HR teams
  • Experience in the manufacturing field a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with Compliance, ensuring company policies align with local and national laws and regulations
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle queries and concerns from employees with professionalism
  • Strong understanding and experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration, including managing employee records and HR databases
  • Experience with Time Cards, including tracking employee hours, overtime, and leave balances.
