Defense Litigation Paralegal

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Defense Litigation Paralegal in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is centered around defense side litigation, and you'll be assisting a partner with a focus on personal injury defense, necessitating familiarity with NJ and PA e-filing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and Case Management Software to facilitate case handling.
• Engage in briefing and calendar management to ensure smooth operation of the litigation process.
• Undertake claim administration tasks, maintaining an organized approach.
• Deliver effective communication to all relevant parties, ensuring clarity and understanding of case progress.
• Employ your skills in defense litigation and personal injury defense to provide robust and effective support.
• Handle CompuLaw and billing functions to manage case-related expenses.
• Maintain accurate records and process credit applications to support the financial aspects of cases.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in defense litigation, specifically in the context of paralegal work
• Knowledge and experience in personal injury defense
• Experience in personal injury litigation.
