• Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to maintain and update customer credit records.
• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.
• Monitor customer accounts, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist in the transition of employees by providing necessary accounting support.
• Ensure all customer records are compliant with industry standards.
• Regularly review and update accounting procedures and processes.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and accurate accounting practices.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Identify and suggest improvements for accounting processes and procedures. • The applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accountant role.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is required.
• The candidate should hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• The ability to prepare financial statements and conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance is expected.
• The candidate should be able to analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the business's attention.
• An understanding of, and ability to adhere to, all financial regulations and legislation is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• The candidate should be detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify numerical errors.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to meet tight deadlines is required.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, regulations, and procedures relating to accounting and financial management is expected.
