Overview:

VTG is seeking an Outreach Program Analyst to support the NAVSEA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. Position will be a hybrid in our Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities:

Outreach personnel serve as field agents for the NAVSEA SBIR/STTR PM and are responsible for a robust program to provide knowledge and opportunity to small businesses through events across the country. The Outreach personnel’s role involves interaction with small businesses, venture Capitalists, Primes, NAVAL X, and Office of Small Business APEX Accelerators to keep them informed on Navy SBIR/STTR program.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must have and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelors Degree in Business or related field; or three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Highly motivated individual capable of working independently and/or in teams with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Significant organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook).

Preferred:

• MS Sharepoint experience.
• SBIR/STTR knowledge and experience.

Travel:

The position will include about 50% travel within the United States, planning and coordinating events, providing briefings at events upon request, networking, and providing trip reports on the events that were attended.
