Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for an experienced Security Guard (unarmed) to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee School for the Deaf (TN TSD) located in Knoxville, TN.
This is a 2nd shift position working Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The pay rate for this position is $18.50 per hour. Unarmed Security Guard Job Description:Security Guards perform a variety of duties in support of school safety, visitor management, and campus security.
Unarmed Security Guard Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include:-Monitoring alarms, cameras, and campus access.-Conducting patrols on foot and in vehicles.-Must be able to conduct patrol on foot and able to remain in one location or position for extended periods of time.-Capable of maintaining order in stressful, dangerous situations.-Able to communicate clearly and able to respond to emergency personnel.-Other duties may be required and assigned.

Education and Qualifications Needed for Unarmed Security Guard position:-High school diploma or GED required; additional postsecondary training in security or law enforcement preferred-TN Unarmed Guard License required-Valid Tennessee Driver's License-SLPI: ASL rating of Survival Plus preferred; American Sign Language (ASL) sign classes and skill development support available for selected qualified candidates who do not meet the rating level
