Power BI Business Analyst
The initial focus will leverage on data warehousing and reporting in Power BI within an Azure environment.This position is located in Greenville, SC.Your future duties and responsibilities Transform raw data into relevant insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards and reportsbull; Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Create Calculated Columns and Measures in Power BI and Excel depending on the requirement using DAX queriesbull; Create and maintain Analysis services objects such as cubes, dimensions, measuresbull; Implement row level security on data and application security layer models in Power BI Responsible for optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures to improve the performance timeRequired qualifications to be successful in this role Bachelor39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldbull; Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Intelligence Developer, with a successful track record of building BI capabilities within an organizationbull; Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence concepts, particularly within the Azure ecosystembull; Experience in architecting and implementing end-to-end BI solutions on Azure, including data integration, modeling, and reporting/visualization toolsbull; Solid understanding of database management systems, data integration techniques, and data governance principles, with a focus on Azure servicesbull; Familiarity with cloud-based BI platforms and technologies, particularly Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Analysis Servicesbull; Data analysis, visualization, interpretation, and business intelligence skillsbull; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions within the Azure environment.
