Accounts Receivable Specialist (QuickBooks Desktop Experience Required)

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:

• Process and post customer payments, ensuring proper payment application, accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain, monitor, and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
• Perform collections efforts, including customer outreach for overdue invoices.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries regarding accounts.
• Partner with the sales department and customers to ensure proper recording of transactions and adjustments.
• Prepare and deliver accounts receivable aging reports.
• Assist in month-end close activities related to accounts receivable.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with other accounting software.
• Experience in the distribution industry is a plus, but not required.
