Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production processes, adherence to quality standards & timely delivery of products. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, managing production teams & ensuring compliance with safety & regulatory guidelines.
- Plan, schedule &coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets
- Monitor production processes, resolve issues & ensure adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with supply chain & inventory teams to ensure raw material availability & inventory control
- Supervise, train & develop production team members to improve efficiency and skillsets
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, progress & updates
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety & continuous improvement
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement & implement efficiency measures
- Develop & execute strategies to reduce waste, improve workflows & optimize resources
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements
- Address non-conformities in a timely manner & implement corrective actions
- Promote & enforce a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and company policies
- Ensure all equipment is maintained & operating efficiently
- Prepare & present production performance reports, including KPIs, downtime analysis, and productivity metrics
- Collaborate with management on production goals & budget planning
