Financial Business Analyst

Located in downtown Dallas this is 100% onsite, with potential flexibility down the road.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact and support for the COO
• Develop complex financial models for budgeting, compensation, profitability, and pricing scenarios
• Conduct discounted cash flow work and cash flow pro-forma modeling
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to create and present data-driven insights for change management initiatives
• Establish policies to be drafted for the executive team based on financial analysis
• Calculate hourly cost rates from bill rate models
• Handle indirect costs and billable hours modeling relevant to the legal or professional services industry
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both verbally and in written form
• Use your extensive finance background to perform tasks beyond standard accounting, including general ledger management
• Drive the development of scenario-based models to support the company's ambitious growth strategy.
• Proven experience in Business Analysis within the legal industry
• Proficient in creating and interpreting Financial Models
• Demonstrable ability to develop both standard and Complex Financial Models
• Familiar with Compensation, Profitability, and Pricing Analysis
• Skilled in Cash Flow Modeling and Direct-Indirect Rate Calculations
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
• Relevant degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred
