Philadelphia - Front End Developer / Designer
Healthjump is looking for a positive, energetic, enthusiastic, creative Front End Web Developer / Designer to join us in our mission to make healthcare data usable and valuable!
Position Details:
Our company is based in Center City, Philadelphia. As our platform continues to grow at a rapid pace, we need Front End Web Developers / Designers to make our product more feature rich and intuitive, so we've made a commitment to expanding the front-end of Healthjump.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, goal getter, works well with others and is able to adapt to changes quickly. The candidate for Front End Web Developer/Designer must be highly motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, creative, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customizing customer-facing web app (aka Healthjump’s Customer Portal)
- Work with Director of Product to design new features and product enhancements
- Improve the usability and features of our dashboards and client facing reporting
- Make updates to homepage and marketing website
- Work with Marketing Department to develop sales support materials
Requirements to be considered for hire:
- 2+ years of front-end website development experience
- 2+ Years of extensive up-to-date, in-depth knowledge and proven development experience of modern HTML and CSS
- 2+ Years of current javascript framework experience (e.g. Angular, React, Vue)
- Experience using Responsive Design techniques and progressive enhancement in a mobile-first approach
- Knowledge of how to optimize CSS/HTML/Javascript for rapid page load
- Ability to work in a rapid development production environment on time-sensitive projects and tasks
- Ability to work from a task list and manage your work with little assistance
- Cross-browser compatibility including Explorer 8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and major tablet/mobile browsers
- 2+ Years experience with Adobe Products (e.g. Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Passion for user experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of interacting with RESTful APIs

Job Requirements
To qualify for this position you must be extremely proficient in one or more JS Frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue), HTML, CSS, Adobe Products (e.g. Photoshop & Illustrator), and have 2 years of on the job experience. You must be able to produce graphical mockups of user flows and be able to integrate them into our product.You will be required to work with the backend development team to present specs and coordinate deployment.

Experience:
- 2 years (Required)
- Full Time / Monday – Friday / a minimum of 40 hours per week with flexibility to work with virtual teams, expected availability 9 am to 5 pm EST, although flexibility as needed and coordinated with your manager.
- Travel Minimal, if not located in Philadelphia, must be able to travel to Philadelphia office minimally 4x per week
