We are in search for a Receptionist to join our team. This role is based in Norfolk, Virginia, and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, offering administrative support across the organization.

You will be handling administrative tasks, including managing the multi-line phone system, providing customer service, data entry, and email correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and visitors.
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining a well-organized calendar.
  • Managing the multi-line phone system, ensuring all calls are answered and directed appropriately.
  • Providing excellent customer service by handling inquiries and providing information in a detail oriented manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records by performing data entry tasks.
  • Handling email correspondence and ensuring all communications are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Organizing files and maintaining an efficient filing system.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to perform various tasks.
  • Exercising strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, clients, and visitors.
  • Ensuring the reception area is well-maintained, presentable, and welcoming to all visitors. • Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in answering a multi-line phone system is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.

  • Experience with email correspondence is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with team members and clients.
