Palliative Care Phys - Locums - Salem
Overview:
Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Palliative Medicine physician to support our medical group as a locum tenens (per diem) in the Hospice and Palliative Medicine department. You will work as part of our 18-clinician team in the Portland, Oregon metro area.You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and palliative care medical skills. Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship training is required.
Kaiser Northwest has its own hospice program, integrated clinic-based palliative care and home-based palliative care, as well as an inpatient consultation service. The opportunities for palliative care clinicians are challenging and varied, and there is broad institutional support for our mission.We place a strong emphasis on a team-first, collaborative approach. In this role, you will work on an as-needed basis providing care to our Inpatient team at the Sunnyside and Westside medical centers. There is no call required for this role. You will need to be local to the Portland metro area and able to work as a W2, temporary employee with flexibility to cover both locations when our core staff needs additional support.
