For one of our clients, we are looking for a Director, Commercial Data & Analytics, remotely from Massachusetts, United States.
As a Director, Commercial Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for leading data strategy and analytics to drive key commercial functions. You will collaborate with data suppliers, IT teams, and vendor partners to integrate and optimize data flow across multiple platforms.Your expertise in oncology commercial datasets and business intelligence will be crucial in delivering insights that support decision-making and business growth. In this role, you will ensure data integrity, oversee data governance processes, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement commercial data strategies to optimize analytics platforms and data flow.
- Oversee the acquisition, integration, and quality control of commercial datasets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for oncology data sources, including specialty pharmacy, hub data, chargebacks, and claims.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data collection, storage, and processing systems.
- Manage data governance and business rule documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support field force operations by ensuring data accuracy for incentive compensation and reporting.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience in biotech or pharma analytics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology; hematology-oncology experience is a plus.
- Expertise in commercial datasets, data governance, sales force effectiveness, omnichannel analytics, and real-world evidence (RWE).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools such as MicroStrategy and Tableau.
