Robert Half has partnered with a successful manufacturer on their search for a Staff Accountant who has a passion for numbers and can manage the financial health of the firm. The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as: assisting with accounts payable/receivable activities, reviewing general ledger accounts, monitoring expense reporting, preparing journal entries, assisting with bank reconciliations, and participating in the development and tracking of budgets.
The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time-management and strong budgeting/forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation.
Everyday Responsibilities- Support daily accounting functions
- Month End/Year End Close
- General Ledger Maintenance
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- KPI Tracking
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly Financial Reporting
- Recurring Journal Entries
- Assist with annual audit
- Provide documentation for annual tax returns
The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:
- 2+ years experience in corporate accounting including financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance
- Power BI or similar experience
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
