Compensation:
Salary Range: $66.63 - $92.76 / hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy.PRN differential is added in certain positions.
Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
Provides pharmaceutical services supporting all outpatient activities with focus on Specialty Pharmacy. This includes prescription processing, patient counseling, technician oversight, clerk oversight, record keeping, billing and adjudication (prior authorization), physician communication, computer operating system use and record keeping.Enroll patients in Patient Management Program to create personalized disease state and specialized drug care plans. The patient management program will help each patient manage side effects, promote adherence to medications, and improve overall health.
Create and manage performance improvement and quality improvement plans for Specialty Pharmacy adherence. Performs all duties conforming to CMHS organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current California Pharmacist License
- Three (3) years of experience in outpatient pharmacy
- Certified Specialty Pharmacist through National Association of Specialty Pharmacy, or able to obtain within two (2) years from hire date
Preferred:
- Master’s degree (M.A.) or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D)
- Experience with specialty pharmacy accreditation (URAC, ACHC, etc.)
- 340B pharmacy experience
