They assist in supporting the Automotive, Medical and Plastics Industries with customers nation wide.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Field Service Technician are:

  • Installation and Setup: Install and configure robots, automation systems, material handling systems, dryers, blenders, granulators, temperature controllers, and chillers at customer sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure optimal operation of equipment. Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Customer Support: Provide on-site technical support and training to customers, ensuring they understand the operation and maintenance of their equipment. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest technology and product developments. Attend training sessions and workshops as required to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing service tasks. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Field Service Technician will have the following:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service technician role, preferably in robotics, automation systems, or related industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Mechanical and Electrical Hands-on work
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites. Both Locally and Nationally
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Comfortable working in various industrial environments.
