Controller - Robert Half
Are you an experienced Controller looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? My client, a subsidiary of a global manufacturing company, is seeking a talented Controller to join their team.
This person will be a key strategic partner, combining hands-on management with forward-thinking leadership.
This role involves crafting and implementing a long-term operational strategy for the plant, while driving the achievement of financial and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a long-term operations strategy for the manufacturing plant.
- Enhance and implement reporting metrics and tools for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of plant performance.
- Ensure delivery of savings targets related to key capital investments and maintain updated standard costs to reflect current manufacturing processes.
- Provide financial analyses for new capital investments and sourcing decisions, developing reusable tools for future projects.
- Optimize the organization and structure of the finance function within operations.
- Implement changes as required to support the mission of finance.
- Use accounting software systems to maintain accurate customer credit records.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) duties.
- Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
- Perform auditing and budget processes as part of accounting functions.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in manufacturing cost accounting & analysis, the ability to communicate & present information to leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
The targeted range for the position is $110,000 to $140,000 plus bonus. The position is primarily on-site however there is flexibility for remote work during the month end close & other one-off instances.
