Human Resources Generalist
Overview:
As a Human Resource (HR) Generalist with MicroTech, you will be providing the administration and execution of HR initiatives while assisting the HR Director in developing and executing human resources strategies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, change management, organizational, and performance management, benefits management, training and development, and compensation.The HR Generalist will also assist the HR Director as an ISO Management Representative and oversee and/or assist the Office Management function at MicroTech’s Headquarters in Delray Beach, Florida, including providing in-office support at least one full day per week.

Responsibilities:
- This individual will work closely with the HR Director and department staff to plan, organize, and control activities of the department.
- Assist with developing HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall firm business objectives.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Monitor HRIS effectiveness and make adjustments when necessary.
- Assist with developing comprehensive benefit plans that are competitive and cost-effective for the company.
- Provide guidance to the HR Director on Group Health/Life and Disability/FSA Open Enrollment administration; assist with coordinating group health renewal with the broker and communicating benefits decisions to employees. Ensure enrollment data reports are built appropriately for mass enrollment initiatives.
- Assist the HR Director in identifying organizational development needs and ensuring that appropriate training and interventions are delivered to meet these needs.
- Assist in communicating regularly with management about department issues.
- Track and submit other required filings, such as the VETS 4212 and Quarterly Virginia Values Veterans
- Collaborate often with the HR Director and other stakeholders in resolving HR issues and projects that often have a company-wide impact.
- Collaborate with the HR Director and proposal team regarding employee data: certifications, training, clearances, job descriptions, skill set, resume searches, etc.
- Collaborate with HR Director other departments to create and distribute company-wide notices.
- Assist in staffing, HR, and security write-ups/reviews as needed.
- Assist with 401k programs and plan administration: Conduct Compliance testing, Plan audits, 5500 and EEO filings, and Annual reporting notices. Coordinate educational sessions with a broker when needed.

Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to bring immediate credibility to the human resources function through professional qualifications and leadership skills as well as project the highest levels of integrity.
- Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills as well as proven organizational skills are required.
- 3+ years of HR experience strongly preferred
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university.
- MBA/MA/PHR or SPHR preferred.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Knowledge of Paychex Flex is strongly preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
