Schedule: Days | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures as per physician orders to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Operate and maintain advanced Low Dose CT Scanners and cardiac CT angiography equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Administer contrast media safely, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines, provide shielding, and assist patients in proper positioning for optimal imaging.
• Accurately enter and update patient records in the EPIC EMR system (if experienced).
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and referring physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
• Regularly inspect imaging equipment to maintain compliance with NYS Department of Health and Joint Commission standards.
• Educate patients on procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring they understand pre- and post-exam instructions.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding sanitation, infection prevention, and patient safety.
• Manage workflow efficiently to accommodate patient volumes, urgent imaging requests, and varying case complexities.

Requirements:

✔️ Certification: ARRT (CT) Certification (Required), AHA BLS (Preferred)
