Compliance Planning Manager

We are currently seeking a Compliance Planning Manager for contract to hire position in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be overseeing compliance monitoring, managing the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) database, and producing annual action plans.
You will also be responsible for overseeing planning and reporting for federal grants, responding to inquiries, and drafting policies and procedures to guide compliance and planning activities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance monitoring, develop calendars for monitoring activities, and analyze results to determine regulatory applicability
- Manage the IDIS database and utilize it to manage financial compliance requirements for grant funds
- Create annual action plans for the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
- Oversee planning and reporting for federal grants from HUD and EEOC, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with federal regulatory requirements
- Respond to inquiries and provide compliance guidance to staff members regarding grant regulatory compliance and HUD/EEOC planning and reporting requirements
- Draft policies and procedures to guide compliance and planning activities, particularly in response to changes in HUD/EEOC regulations
- Develop written documents or spreadsheets as tools to assist in compliance and monitoring processes
- Coordinate with external or internal customers to resolve audit findings, implement solutions, and make recommendations for solutions to compliance problems
- Track disbursement of grant funds and oversee department-wide purchasing procedures
- Manage the preparation, development, and administration of the department’s annual budget process, ensuring adherence to department budgets and recommending adjustments as necessary.
- Proven experience in Budget Processes, with a focus on strategic planning and financial analysis
- Familiarity with Government Grants and Foundation Grants, including application and management processes
- Demonstrated understanding of Compliance regulations within the non-profit sector
- Knowledge of HUD (Housing and Urban Development) policies and procedures is essential
- Awareness of EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) guidelines and their application in a non-profit setting
- Proficiency in Fair Housing practices and regulations, with an emphasis on non-profit housing initiatives
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing Law and its implications within the non-profit sector
- Prior experience working with Municipalities, particularly in relation to non-profit initiatives and funding.
