Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic apparel and fashion company, specializing in creating and distributing iconic brands globally. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst with experience in retail, fashion, wholesale, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, preferably with a focus on physical products.

Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience managing financial models and analyses related to mergers and acquisitions (M& A), inventory management, net working capital, and factoring.

This role is integral in supporting strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key variances and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assess their impact on working capital, providing actionable insights to improve inventory management.
  • Manage factoring processes, working closely with finance and operations teams to optimize cash flow.
  • Support M& A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and present findings to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Continuously evaluate financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a retail, fashion, wholesale, or CPG company.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
  • Experience with cash flow projections, factoring, M& A, inventory management, and net working capital.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
