Endoscopy Technician - Contract - ETC25-20247

Hours: 37.5 per week (7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Job Description:

Seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to assist in patient care and unit support under RN supervision. Must recognize patient status changes and promptly inform the RN.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs, perform EKGs, and assist with procedures.
• Maintain, clean, and report malfunctions of medical equipment.
• Manage medical supply inventory and set up oxygen/suction.
• Collect and transport specimens, retrieve endoscopy reports.
• Provide patient instructions and support during emergencies (CPR).
• Transport patients/equipment and perform RN-assigned tasks per regulations.

Qualifications:

• English proficiency (10th grade) and math (9th grade).
• Preferred: NA/PCA certification.
• Required: AHA HeartSaver or BLS.
• Highly recommended: BCLS, ACLS, PALS.
