Infrastructure Engineer - Denver
Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $100,050.00/Yr. - USD $166,750.00/Yr.. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience engineering and technical expertise in the design, implementation, and testing of various elements of information technology (IT) and communication systems cabling distribution
- Experience planning, designing, and testing data center infrastructure, communication systems cabling distribution, wide area communication circuits, and cryptologic circuits for classified facilities (i.e. SCIF) including pre-installation check out (PITCO) and system operation and verification test (SOVT) plans
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, and MS Project to provide comprehensive engineering documentation of cabling designs and “as-built” diagrams in accordance with the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH)
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with project management best practices and execution and with strict compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations
- Ability to review, evaluate, and provide quality assurance oversight of installed copper and optical fiber cable plant
- Ability to demonstrate technical expertise in the planning, design, and coordination of hardware installations with multiple agencies
- Ability to collaborate closely with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless program of
- Experience Developing and implement an approach to work with project and program sponsors to ensure a seamless transition from the current to new locations.
- Experience developing installation design plans (IDP)
- Ability to negotiate complex technical solutions with FAMs and major stakeholders.
- Ability to read electrical and electronic schematic diagrams
- Ability to provide written and oral presentations to various personnel up to senior levels on program status, technical issues, scheduling, and cost
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, State of Colorado
- BICSI Registered Certified Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification

This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Infrastructure Engineer design, installation oversight, and quality assurance (QA) of all cabling installations to support the installation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. Manages and coordinates the cabling infrastructure design and provide installation oversight at a new facility by engaging with functional area managers (FAMs) and other project and systems engineers to ensure installed cabling will support proper systems integration throughout the space. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO. Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Developing installation design plans (IDP), procurement packages, and system operation and verification test (SOVT) plans using AutoCAD, Visio, and MS Project in accordance with guidance provided in Appendix Q of the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH)
- Providing written and oral presentations to various personnel up to senior levels on program status, technical issues, scheduling, and cost
- Developing and implementing an approach to work with project and program sponsors to ensure a seamless transition from the current to new locations
- Planning, designing, coordinating, directing, testing and checking out infrastructure tasks in support of building structured cabling, data center infrastructure, wide area communication circuits, and cryptologic circuits
- Reviewing, evaluating, and providing QA oversight of installed copper and optical fiber cable plant
- Collaborating closely with other FAMs, departments and agencies to ensure seamless transition and integration into the overall command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I)/IT architecture
- Resolving complex technical solutions with FAMs and major stakeholders.Works with FAMs and other project engineers to develop integrated networking and communication systems
- Ensuring strict compliance with DoD regulations and USSPACECOM guidelines
- Implementing electrical and electronic schematic diagrams
