We are partnering with a Commercial Real Estate and Property Management Company located north of Boston that is seeking a qualified candidate with two plus years of industry accounting experience for a full-time position and Yardi software experience.

Responsibilities

Daily:

Back-up for check scanning

Weekly

Review/Prepare Cash transfer form & recording of transfer entries
Back up/Oversee Payscan approvals
Oversee A/R and Collections; Tenant communication re AR

Monthly - Accruals

Review Lender reporting/Cash Sweep ( tracking cash and AP )
Review/ Prepare JV Monthly reports
Prepare/oversee monthly mortgage payments/ schedules
Review Lender requisitions
Overall General Ledger Review (Eg. Exchange account analysis; Due to/From)
Mid-year CAM prep
Leasing schedule review
Lender follow-up questions on reporting
Special projects

Quarterly

Review Real estate tax escrow entries

Annual

Prepare & Review Year-end accruals
Assist tax accountants with preparation of tax returns
Annual CAM

Required Skills and Knowledge:

B.S. Degree in Accounting

Proficiency in Excel and Yardi Voyager and Payscan

Maintain analytical focus during fast pace and high volume work atmosphere

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
