Aon is looking for a Contingent and Litigation Risk Insurance Analyst.

Aon Transaction Solutions (“ATS”) is an industry leading team focusing on brokerage of transaction liability insurance products, including Representations & Warranties, Tax, Litigation and other Contingent risks, largely in the context of M&A transactions.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to add an Analyst to our industry-leading contingent and litigation risk group, which places insurance to protect parties from exposure to dispute and litigation-related risks. This role will have an important and direct impact on the financial results of this dynamic, high-profile business, and you will help empower results for our clients by assisting the brokers – each of whom is a former practicing commercial litigator – with all aspects of the insurance placement process, from identifying potential prospects for coverage to actually binding such coverage.This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely at times, with the expectation that you will work with your colleagues in the New York office at least 3 days a week.

What the day will look like
The successful candidate will assist senior team members track and analyze data, support process and deliverables in insurance placements. This position also will gain significant exposure to Representations and Warranties and Tax insurance for a well-rounded career experience across the full M&A solution set.
- Partner with & support senior brokers in all facets of deal execution from initial client intake through the transaction’s signing/closing.
- Support senior brokers in long-term projects, passionate about key critical initiatives.
- Prepare analyses for private equity and corporate clients and insurance carrier meetings.
- Complete ad-hoc business development and innovation initiatives.
- Conduct benchmarking and track economic and market developments.

Skills and experience that will lead to success- 0-2+ years of professional experience/internships in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective presentation, reporting and communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to attain a Broker’s License in first year of employment.

Pay Transparency:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $72,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
