Purpose: Part of an interdisciplinary team that supports the well-being of our child and adolescent clients. Conducts psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations using a variety of standardized assessment measures to diagnose children on the autism spectrum.Provides recommendations and referrals for families as appropriate based off testing data and results of the formal evaluation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides autism diagnostic evaluations for patients and provides recommendations for treatments, including reaching an informed diagnosis based on scientific and clinical evidence, and provides patient referrals to other professionals as necessary.
- Provides detailed documentation and evaluative reports in a timely manner.
- Provides supervision to other staff as needed and when appropriate.
- Travel to clinics in other cities may be required depending on need and availability.
- Assists the director in ongoing program development, education and training as available, community outreach, and recruitment efforts as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program.
- Completed a doctoral internship from an APA accredited program.
- Licensed, or license eligible in a state where Behavioral Innovations operates
- Previous work experience in pediatric and/or child psychology.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong working knowledge of psychological principles, psychometrics and testing, diagnostic criteria; child development; and ethics.
- Skill in the use of psychological evaluation and assessment techniques.
- Has excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with children and their families from varied socio-economic, educational, and cultural backgrounds.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in arriving to appropriate conclusions, diagnoses, and recommending appropriate treatments.
- Empathic quality in addressing the emotional needs of children.
- Adherence to professional, legal and ethical regulations, as required by relevant regulatory bodies and the law.
Expectations:
- Travel requirement: 10-15% to designated centers, meetings at the Corporate office, etc.
