We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. This role involves overseeing tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and utilizing a range of accounting software systems. This is a hybrid role with benefits!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage tax reporting and planning processes for the organization
• Utilize accounting software systems to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial data
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Conduct auditing processes to verify the accuracy of financial information
• Prepare annual income tax provision and other tax-related documentation
• Utilize ATX Tax Software and CCH Sales Tax for tax preparation and filing processes
• Implement effective strategies to optimize tax liabilities and benefits
• Work with Adobe Acrobat and 3M for documentation and record-keeping processes
• Oversee accounting functions to ensure smooth financial operations
• Address tax-related inquiries and issues, providing accurate and timely resolutions.
• Must possess proficiency in 3M and ATX Tax Software
• Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat for documentation purposes
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems essential
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively
• Skilled in preparing Annual Income Tax Provision
• Familiarity with CCH Sales Tax software required
• Should have experience in Auditing
• Must possess a strong understanding of Compliance regulations
• Ability to maintain thorough Documentation is essential
