Overview:

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving group sales revenue by targeting corporate, leisure, and event markets. This role includes developing and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless event execution in collaboration with internal teams.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Senior Sales Manager plays a key role in achieving the resort’s sales goals and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect, identify, and develop relationships with corporate, leisure, and event clients to drive group sales revenue.
  • Create and present customized proposals and contracts tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate group sales agreements, ensuring profitability and alignment with the resort’s revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including catering, events, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of group events and services.
  • Conduct site visits and sales presentations, showcasing the resort’s unique amenities and offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target high-potential markets and achieve sales objectives.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client information, sales activity, and pipeline updates.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
  • Provide regular sales reports and performance metrics to the Director of Sales, including insights on key wins and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality sales, with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience in group sales or event sales within luxury hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies, market segmentation, and revenue management principles.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, property management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
