Senior Program Manager, Selling Partner Services
Successful candidates will have strong Program Management skills, experience working with Technical teams, and some Finance familiarity. This will help enable the Sr. PM to facilitate discussions to gather necessary requirements, uncover improvement opportunities, benchmark, and drive changes across many teams.
This role requires a self-motivated, analytically-minded leader with strong oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and has a passion for delivering best-in-class solutions. This role will work closely with technical teams, business intelligence, tax, operations, and other various stakeholders.This role will support highly impactful, cross functional projects that have high visibility with leadership in the Finance organization.
Key job responsibilities- Collaborate and build relationships with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and the highest degree of controller ship
- Build and negotiate efficient and reliable processes and policies across teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, plan, organize, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations
- Establish best practices, business requirements, and stakeholder alignment for processes, definitions used and frameworks
- Validate, review and guide changes to processes, documents, and logics and drive timely incorporation
- Provide technical direction in accordance to established parameters for multiple projects
- Lead meetings to build positive, collaborative partnerships among team members, stakeholders and SMEs to complete all required tasks ensuring compliance
- Gather relevant information from various stakeholders, assess them for completeness, write, review and own documents
- Develop and manage reports and dashboards to record and report key metrics, status update, risks, and process/product changes to team members and management and for weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews
- Anticipate, identify, and communicate risks leadership. Identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
- Manage full life-cycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations including engineering, product, operations, tax
About the team
The Controllership and Governance team within the SPS Finance organization identifies and leads cost-to-serve reduction initiatives across the org. They diagnose existing Amazon processes and metrics, propose/establish new processes and systems, identify opportunities for improvement, secure buy-in from leadership, and oversee the implementation of these changes.- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.
