Digital Marketing Specialist - Account Manager

The Digital Marketing Specialist - Account Manager is responsible for leading strategic and tactical development and execution of integrated digital marketing campaign plans for Chatter Buzz clients to prosper business growth by leveraging the digital ecosystem.

As the lead strategist, you will be working and managing a handful of specialists within each arena to validate that we are meeting client KPIs on a week to week basis.

Desired Education:

Bachelors in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Information Systems, Business, Statistics or related major (minimum GPA - 3.6)

General Knowledge:

  • General knowledge of SEO
  • General knowledge of Google AdWords
  • General knowledge of email marketing
  • Knowledge and experience with social media
  • General knowledge of Google Analytics
  • General knowledge of HTML

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience as SEO or Digital Marketer, or a minimum of 3 years experience in the marketing industry

Qualities:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Capable of working concurrently on several projects
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize client websites for search engines
  • Manage significant budgets on top tier search engines (Google, Facebook Ads & Bing)
  • Keyword research for both SEO and PPC campaigns
  • Review and manage paid search campaigns
  • Analyze competitors
  • Project manage all aspects of digital marketing campaigns for clients
  • Calculate ROI and prepare monthly digital marketing campaign reports
  • Consult with clients about their business goals and propose solutions and strategies that meet their needs
  • Direct the design of web pages and develop web content, assuring that content is consistent with standards and up to date, and assuring that all web functionality is operating properly
  • Performa quality assurance on all deliverables
  • Create project efficiency reports on a monthly basis

Percentage Breakdown:

  • 5% analyzing clients’ competitors
  • 10% writing ad copy, emails etc.
  • 10% creating revenue, ROI and traffic reports for client campaigns
  • 10% working in the backend of websites/fixing technical issues
  • 10% updating website content
  • 10% managing client ad campaigns
  • 10% building/developing content strategy
  • 15% client strategy and analytics
  • 20% client interaction - phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, etc.
