part time Accounts Payable Clerk

This position also requires the individual to monitor and manage customer accounts effectively.

• Efficiently entering invoices into the proprietary system
• Regularly checking statements to confirm receipt of invoices
• Actively communicating with vendors in case of incomplete information
• Performing front end Accounts Payable tasks including matching and coding
• Handling high volume invoice processing in a timely manner
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for tasks beyond entry-level, excluding pivot tables or VLOOKUP's
• Communicating effectively with staff, vendors, and executives
• Demonstrating strong reading comprehension and an eye for detail, especially during coding
• Ensuring accurate customer credit records are maintained
• Taking appropriate actions based on customer account monitoring.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Proficiency in data entry and management
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of accounting software is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and an understanding of accounting principles and practices.
