Quality Project Data Manager - Ridgeville, SC

The ideal candidate is organized, proficient in quality systems, and skilled in customer interactions, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and project success.

1st shift hours: 5:30am-4:40pm M-F

Pay rate: $50-$60K Annually

Essential Job Function:

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management & Reporting: Accurately input and update quality data daily in the customer’s SharePoint system, dedicating up to 4+ hours per day to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Customer Activity Tracking: Maintain and manage the customer’s activity board, regularly updating it to reflect current tasks, status, and progress.
• Data Verification: Verify quality data entries for correctness and adequacy, ensuring data integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Process Compliance: Conduct regular reviews and audits of quality processes and documentation to ensure adherence to customer and industry requirements.
• Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, helping to address questions, manage corrective actions, and relay updates to the Stratosphere Quality team.
• Scheduling and Planning: Assist with planning team schedules, monitoring overtime requirements, and organizing workload to meet project demands.
• Inventory and Issue Tracking: Oversee inventory clean points, project issues, and escalate as necessary to resolve customer concerns.
• KPI Management: Track, update, and provide insights on team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in customer quality standards.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Excel Proficiency: Strong capability in creating spreadsheets, charts, and graphs; use of formulas; and applying formatting for efficient data analysis and reporting.
• SharePoint Expertise: Experienced in creating and editing SharePoint pages; proficiency is essential from day one.
• Data Management: Skilled at managing multiple data sets with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical and Reporting Skills: Competent in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting to support quality and project decisions.
• Self-Direction: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Customer Communication: Excellent communication skills for customer interactions, including addressing questions, providing updates, and facilitating issue resolution.
• Basic Project Management: Able to support small projects by coordinating schedules, managing tasks, and addressing customer needs.

Preferred Experience:

• Automotive Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the automotive sector, especially with OEMs, is a plus.
• Quality Engineering/Management: Experience in quality engineering or management is beneficial.

• Amount of Travel Required – could be up to 75%; including overnight
