Benefits Coordinator

We are in search of a temporary Benefits Coordinator to join our team in the Machinery Manufacturing industry. This role focuses on supporting the Human Resources Benefits Team, managing benefits related documentation, and participating in HR benefit projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the HR Benefits Team, ensuring seamless operations and timely task completion.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of benefits-related paperwork, such as medical support orders, benefits termination forms, retiree medical payments, and vendor invoices.
  • Collaborate on HR Benefits initiatives, including coordinating meetings, organizing training sessions, and managing surveys to support team goals.
  • Facilitate the resolution of employee benefit claims, working directly with vendors for life insurance and long-term disability cases.
  • Assist with the annual review and audit of benefits plan data to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform data analysis and provide insights to address unique business requests and projects.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline (Associate’s level or higher) is required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative capacity is essential, with preference given to candidates who have worked in HR or benefits administration.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, with excellent follow-up abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Skilled at balancing accuracy with productivity in a fast-paced setting.
  • Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
