Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will be incorporated into our team to manage accounts payable tasks, primarily focusing on processing invoices, maintaining records, and resolving any related issues.

• Efficiently process invoices for payment
• Match invoices with check remittances to ensure accuracy
• Undertake voucher creation for invoices
• Assist in coding invoices in accordance with General Ledger (GL) accounts
• Execute purchase order (PO) matching to verify transactions
• Maintain organized filing system for all accounts payable documents
• Utilize accounting functions to manage and monitor customer accounts
• Resolve any customer inquiries related to accounts payable. • Proficiency in various Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to accurately Code Invoices
• Familiarity with Filing systems and procedures
• Knowledge and understanding of Purchase Orders processing
