Job Title: Mammography Technician
Location: New York, NY (10019)
Hours:
- Per Week: 37.5
- Per Day: 7.5
- Days Per Week: 5
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Duties:
- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography
- Demonstrate proficiency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors
- Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled per department SOP
- Evaluate images for technical accuracy and ensure timely transmission to PACS
- Ensure all studies are properly completed in IDX
- Accurately record patient tracking information in the system
Skills: Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a clinical environment
Education and Certifications:
- Must possess a valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography
- Must be registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Must meet and maintain MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements
