Job Description
  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site activities and ensuring that projects adhere to schedules and safety standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and labor crews, ensuring clear communication and coordination to maintain project flow.
  • Inspect construction progress, ensuring compliance with building codes, plans, and specifications.
  • Help implement quality control measures and ensure that all safety procedures are followed on-site.
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders, updating them on progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Support the resolution of any issues that arise on-site, ensuring minimal delays and efficient problem-solving.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, ideally with experience in public sector projects (e.g., schools, municipal buildings).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and schedules.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction management practices.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to commute between job sites in Dade and Broward counties.
