Overview:

Bowhead seeks a Part Time Photographer

Oversight given by art director and department leadership. Position available at Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality, professional digital photography to include, but not limited to both portrait and on-scene photography.
• On-scene photography can involve, but not limited to, accident investigations, building maintenance, events, award ceremonies, group photos, and photo-journalism.
• Proper caption writing techniques shall be required for all photographs.
• load all photos into server with proper metadata tags and captions.
• Remove all metadata from photographs before images are approved for public release.
• Use of Nikon Digital camera systems and Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud software.
• Entering work order details to web based tracking system.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the career field of photography
• Must be able to maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must hold active a security clearance at the Top Secret level. Possessing an active Top Secret Clearance is preferred. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 5 to 10 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
