Responsibilities:
You will conduct the following responsibilities, upholding HSS’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.- Maintain the security and safety of the facility, its staff, and visitors -- and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on property.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarians’ driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)
Desired Qualification of the Security Officer:
- Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
