The HR Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing a seamless and positive experience throughout an employee's career at Syntiant. The position will be responsible for actions in a broad range of duties within the HR function to include benefits, compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, leave management, and leadership partnership.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership team members in the full process of talent acquisition. Supporting development of job descriptions, recruitment strategy, job postings, candidate search, screening, and selection.
- Support the on-boarding and off-boarding efforts in partnership across all functions.
- Collaborate with team members in HR, Legal, and other departments as required, to develop, disseminate, and maintain critical company policies.
- Play a key role in Total Rewards including supporting employee inquiries with benefits, leave management, and compensation. Will play a critical role with annual requirements for benefits and compensation planning.
- A critical role in supporting employee relations and addressing day-to-day inquiries.
- Manage and maintain our employee records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date and continuously seek to improve processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Handle employee transactions, ensuring all data is accurately entered and maintained.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required:
- BS/BA degree
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Experience working in matrix organizations
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with effective relationship building and influence.
- Strong process orientation; well-structured and well-organized.
- Strong project management, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and a passion for a fast-paced environment.
- Able to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.
- Solid skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting base pay for this role is targeted to be between $70,000 and $80,000.Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Syntiant, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company.It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
