Maintenance Technician

Our client is a privately held, 75+ year old global manufacturer located in Geneva, IL. Due to growth and expansion, they're looking for a 1st Shift Maintenance Tech to be involved in both production and facilities maintenance. This person will be on rotational weekend on-call every 8th or 9th weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Upkeep and maintenance of all type of production and building-related equipment including but not limited to:
• heavy-duty hydraulic equipment
• automated production systems
• conveyors
• injection molding machines
• extruders
• boilers
• AC units
• ovens
• Troubleshoot/repair all mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control systems.

Requirements:

• HS diploma/GED (technical coursework highly desired)
• Minimum of 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Ability to perform general machine and building maintenance couple with a solid understanding of:
• lockout/tagout procedures
• 220/440V
• piping systems
• Ability to read/understand schematics will be key

Compensation:

• $25 - $45 an hour + full benefits package will be offered.
• Time and a half for overtime Saturdays
• Double time for Sundays
