What You'll Do In This Role

  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Data Issues: Manage and analyze trouble tickets related to data inconsistencies and system errors, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze large datasets in the EDW and Snowflake environments to derive insights, support decision-making, and ensure data quality across insurance product lines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with onshore and offshore team members to address data issues promptly and support operational objectives.
  • Data Management and Querying: Use SQL extensively to query data, develop reports, and support ad-hoc data requests from business stakeholders.
  • Support Data Integrity: Maintain and enhance data quality, integrity, and accuracy within the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Documentation: Document troubleshooting steps, analysis processes, and resolutions for knowledge sharing within the team.
What We're Looking For
  • College Degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems Preferred
  • Minimum 8 years' IT development experience or equivalent Preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with business partners and other IT staff
  • Problem solving skills sufficient to perform research and recommend a proposed solution to problems
  • Able to work on multiple tasks and meet established deadlines
  • Able to effectively direct and coordinate the work of other team members on a project without having HR management responsibility for them
  • Knowledge of computer programming languages as required for the system

Salary Range Information

USD $80,638.00 - USD $167,997.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
